Supporting Meaningful Family Engagement
The presenter discusses who is included in a family, why engagement is hard but necessary and how to engage families easier. The role of siblings and how sibling relationship assists with social growth are also discussed. Tips and tools are provided for professionals to help them navigate when siblings are separated or having placement issues. The process of linking families with services and discharge planning are discussed.
