What is the JIT Network?

Just in Time Training is a network of Child Welfare agencies that are committed to providing their foster or resource parents, kinship and other caregivers high quality, on- demand training and resources through our websites and a state-of-the art Learning Management System. The collaboration of our network partners addresses the ever-changing training needs through sharing quality training that is necessary for continuing education requirements and to improve the care of children in the Child Welfare System. Our site is designed to keep you informed and educated with evidence-based training videos, resource documents, an event calendar, and more- all accessible whenever you need it.

I’ve been watching these videos for years, why do I need to join the Network?

As a member of the JIT Network you will still have access to over 200 training videos covering a variety of topics to help you care for children. Through the Learning Management System (LMS) you will be able pause or stop a training and return to it later, print or view the certificates you have earned at any time, receive alerts about newly available training and sign up for trainings that you can view at a later time.

How do I create an account?

You can create an account by clicking HERE. You will need to answer a few questions so we can learn more about our JIT Network members. You will receive a response from us from within 2 business days.

What if I forgot my password?

You can reset your password by clicking on Forgot your password on the login page. You will be prompted to enter your email. Once you receive the email follow the instructions to reset your password.

My spouse and I share an email. Can we use one email address for our JIT account?

No. Each user will need their own account.

How do I search for training?

From the Home page click on the “Courses” tab. From there you can view all training videos or search by category, recently posted trainings or trainings you have enrolled to take.

How many training credit hours will I receive for completing a training?

The number of training hours you will receive for successfully completing a training will vary (ranging from .25 hours to 2.00 hours). The number of training hours is listed in the course description for each training.

How can I earn a certificate?

You can earn a certificate by watching the training video in its entirety and receiving a passing score of at least 80% on the quiz.

How can I find my certificates?

Once you successfully pass the quiz your certificate will be available to view and download. If you want to access your certificate at a later time you can find them in your profile.

Can I stop a video and go back to it later?

Yes. While watching the training video you can pause, rewind, and even close the page, return and resume where you left off. You can always come back and revisit any training video.

If I start watching a training on one device then stop, can I pick up where I left off on another device?

No. You must start and finish the training on the same device.

Can I take a training on a mobile device such as a cell phone or tablet?

Yes. JIT trainings are compatible with mobile devices.

How can I find a training video tutorial?

You can locate the Training Video Step-by-Step Guide HERE
