Strategies for Families Supporting California Foster Youth Entering Their First Year
Focusing on strategies, resources and tips, resource families will learn how to help California students get ready for their first year in college. With so many changes in the academic landscape due to Covid-19, these tools and tips will help families assist students in making the transition to college smooth and successful. The presentation includes the latest updates and resources from the CA Community College State Chancellor's Office, and best practice perspectives for supporting youth in foster care on their college journey.

Who We Are
The Just in Time Training Network is a program within
the Department
of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
Sciences at the
University of South Florida. Our team has decades of experience in various
facets of Child Welfare- from Foster/Adoptive Parent to Management, Evaluation,
Investigation, Quality Assurance and Case Management. In addition, we offer
expert Curriculum Development, Web Administration and Management and additional
