Sexual and Reproductive Wellness for Youth in Foster Care: Engaging with Youth about Sexual Wellness
Engaging with young people about sexual wellness is a vital part of what case workers and caregivers provide for youth in foster care. Sexual wellness is a part of every core priority in child welfare: safety, permanency, and well-being. This video gives information about why and how to engage about sexual wellness.
This course is specific to policies and processes for California and is not available to users outside of California.
Who We Are
The Just in Time Training Network is a program within
the Department
of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
Sciences at the
University of South Florida. Our team has decades of experience in various
facets of Child Welfare- from Foster/Adoptive Parent to Management, Evaluation,
Investigation, Quality Assurance and Case Management. In addition, we offer
expert Curriculum Development, Web Administration and Management and additional
