Coping Skills for Children of Drug Addicted and Mentally/Emotionally Challenged Parents
This training covers duties of good parenting; definitions and examples of neglect and abuse; addiction and its effects; brief overview of other common mental health and emotional issues; side effects that children of parents with addiction, emotional issues and other mental health issues struggle with; how can children overcome these side effects; definitions of protective factors, coping skills, and risk factors.

The Just in Time Training Network is a program within
the Department
of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
Sciences at the
University of South Florida. Our team has decades of experience in various
facets of Child Welfare- from Foster/Adoptive Parent to Management, Evaluation,
Investigation, Quality Assurance and Case Management. In addition, we offer
expert Curriculum Development, Web Administration and Management and additional
related services. We strive to offer the highest quality training platform in
the industry to serve and improve the care of children and families in the
Child Welfare System while ensuring ease of use and 24/7 accessibility.
