This course is a specialized training designed for child welfare professionals, foster caregivers, case managers, and allied service providers. This course builds practitioner competency in identifying, responding to, and preventing familial trafficking through a trauma‑informed, evidence‑based lens. Participants will learn how familial trafficking operates within family systems, how coercion and trauma bonding affect disclosure, and how to recognize behavioral and environmental indicators across education, healthcare, law enforcement, and child protective services. The training provides practical strategies for assessment, safety planning, mandated reporting, and cross‑system collaboration to improve child safety and well‑being.
