Course overview
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD):
What It Is and What We Do About It
This training will help the attendee identify red flags and signs that may indicate that a child may have brain-based difficulties as a result of prenatal alcohol exposure. This presentation will also help attendees shift their perspective in order to begin to view social/emotional problems, difficult behaviors, and learning challenges of these individuals as a symptom of brain dysfunction and not willful defiance and opposition.
