The Impact of Grief, Loss
and Transitions on Families
(QPI Only)

This session will allow participants to explore grief and loss specific to child welfare, and focus on grief and loss family members experience as a result of providing excellent care to children. From the loss of privacy and family routines to the loss of children who are moved, foster families are impacted by grief and loss.
This course is only available to States and Communities who participate in the Quality Parenting Initiative. Those who do not participate in QPI will not be able to enroll. Participating QPI Sites are California, Nevada and Philadelphia, PA.
