Gun Violence Prevention
Part 1 - The first session explains The Be SMART framework, which is designed to help parents and adults normalize conversations about gun safety and take responsible actions that can prevent child gun deaths and injuries. The second session examines the impacts and signs of trauma on foster youth, specific trauma associated with gun violence, and how to respond.

of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
