Children in foster care need educational stability and often need special supports. Navigating the school system and understanding the supports that may be available to children in school, can be a complicated process. This course will help you to identify ways that an IEP can benefit your child to ensure that they are successful in school. The presenter will provide a comprehensive overview of Federal Laws put in place to protect the rights of children with disabilities and describe the parent’s rights in the process.
