Fostering Educational Success for Deaf,
Hard of Hearing, or Deafblind Children

As foster parents, it is sometimes confusing on the role a foster parent plays in the educational process. This training reviews the laws pertaining to civil rights, IEP’s, ESSA, FERPA and ARC roles and responsibilities. There is particular attention to those areas that can benefit a child that is challenged by deafness, hard of hearing, or blind children.
This content within this course is specific to policies and processes for Kentucky users and is not available to users outside of Kentucky.
