ESSA and Best Interest Determination
(Kentucky Only)
ESSA is a federal law that promotes school stability and success for foster youth. This training provides information to the foster parent on the roles pertaining to school requirements for the youth. It explains the process of keeping a child in their school of origin. This training is specific to Kentucky foster homes.
This content within this course is specific to policies and processes for Kentucky users and is not available to users outside of Kentucky.

the Department
of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
Sciences at the
University of South Florida. Our team has decades of experience in various
facets of Child Welfare- from Foster/Adoptive Parent to Management, Evaluation,
Investigation, Quality Assurance and Case Management. In addition, we offer
expert Curriculum Development, Web Administration and Management and additional
