Course overview
Introduction to the
Nevada Safety Model for Foster Parents
(Nevada Only)
The purpose of this training is to provide a brief overview of Nevada's current safety model that is utilized by staff to assess the safety of children in Clark County on an ongoing basis. This will include information relevant to reunification of children with their caregivers, what that means for all parties involved and what foster parents can do during and throughout that process to support the caregivers and children that were placed in their home. The last portion of the training will focus on partnership between Department staff, caregivers and foster parents to ensure that all parties are working toward the same goal.
This content within this course is specific to policies and processes for Nevada users in Clark County and is not available to users outside of Nevada.
