Using the Reasonable and Prudent Parenting Standard: Providing Normalcy for Children in Foster Care DCFS Rural Region
Federal Law requires child welfare agencies to implement the Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard RPPS) and provide training to foster caregivers. Foster caregivers using the RPPS provide Normalcy to children in foster care. This ensures they have the same opportunities to participate in extracurriculars which are important for healthy development and maturation.
This content within this course is specific to policies and processes for Nevada users and is not available to users outside of Nevada.

of Child & Family Studies in the College of Behavioral and Community
Sciences at the
University of South Florida. Our team has decades of experience in various
facets of Child Welfare- from Foster/Adoptive Parent to Management, Evaluation,
Investigation, Quality Assurance and Case Management. In addition, we offer
