Attachment, Trauma, and RAD - What Does It All Mean?
This training will discuss the challenges in diagnosing Reactive Attachment Disorder or RAD and understand the limited research in diagnosis and treatment. The training will go beyond the RAD label and provide information about attachment and how trauma impacts attachment. You will gain some practical tools about how to build trust with children with attachment issues. This background can be important for workers and caregivers of children in care with RAD in terms of fostering better outcomes for them.
