How You Can Help Children and Families
This session will define trauma and its effects on children and families. You will learn how parenting styles and behaviors from one generation influence the parentings and behaviors of the next generation. The session also discusses brain-functioning, common trauma triggers and responses we see in children and adults as well as the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) study, protective factors and attachment styles
